Our big win highlights our work in upgrading Brompton Bike Hire’s (BBH) app, enabling their expansion into new international markets, starting with France during the Paris Olympics. We're also proud to announce that we secured a bronze win for "Best B2C App", further celebrating our innovative work on the Brompton Bike Hire app alongside our top accolade for "Best Cross-border Roll Out."

Pioneering cross-border functionality for Brompton Bike Hire

When Brompton Bike Hire decided to introduce their bike rental services to the French market, they required a robust application capable of supporting multi-currency transactions. Their previous system, built on an outdated framework, lacked this essential functionality and faced challenges such as security vulnerabilities and performance issues.

Our solution included a comprehensive overhaul of the app’s infrastructure by upgrading Laravel, October CMS, and PHP. Additionally, we integrated the ‘Paris’ project, enabling seamless multilingual functionality, allowing users to toggle between English and French, and facilitating transactions in currencies beyond GBP. The result? A modern, secure, and scalable platform that not only met the demands of the Paris launch but positioned BBH to expand into even more regions around the globe.

This project showcases our ability to blend technical expertise with a deep understanding of cross-border commerce challenges, creating solutions that make a lasting impact.
